French midfielder Yann M'Vila will sign for either Real Madrid or Arsenal next summer, according to Rennes teammate Kader Mangane.
The 21-year-old was targeted by numerous clubs during the summer and his future at Route de Lorient is still the subject of frequent speculation.
Both Arsenal and Real have been consistently linked with M'Vila, and Mangane believes the Emirates Stadium or Santiago Bernabeu are the youngster's most likely destinations.
“He might go to England but he also likes the Spanish league," Mangane told Goal.com.
"I don’t think he will leave in January but I think he will join Real Madrid or Arsenal next summer.
“The top clubs are right to scout him as I see him with a big career in front of him. Yann has the potential to be one of the biggest players in the world. He has extraordinary abilities.”
Arsenal were credited with a bid for M'Vila in the closing days of the transfer window as Arsene Wenger scoured the market in desperate search of midfield reinforcements.
However, the Gunners boss was unable to bring in an enforcer for the middle of the park, and is expected to return for M'Vila at the next available opportunity.
