Mario Gotze will snub interest from Arsenal and Manchester United in favour of staying at Borussia Dortmund reports the International Business Times.
The 19-year-old playmaker has been heavily linked with a move to the Barclays Premier League, after a series of scintillating performances in the Bundesliga.
Red Devils boss Sir Alex Ferguson is a known admirer of the German international, and was rumoured to be considering an offer to bring Gotze to Old Trafford as a long-term replacement for the recently retired Paul Scholes.
However, Manchester United could face competition for the prodigious youngster's signature from Arsenal, as Gunners boss Arsene Wenger lined up a club record £20million in an attempt to take him to the Emirates Stadium in January.
But, a source close to Gotze has denied there are any plans in place for the attacking midfielder to leave Dortmund, be it for Arsenal, Manchester United, or anywhere else.
"There is no chance of him leaving in the winter," the source told the International Business Times. "Zero per cent.
"There is so much written in the press but there has been no communication with Mario. He knows about the interest and he will always be in demand, but it is good to respect the wishes of Dortmund.
"He is very comfortable at the club and just wants to enjoy his time at Dortmund."
