Chelsea are "continuing" their investigations into the offensive chanting that took place during their game against Genk last week.

The incidents happened during the Blues` Champions League tie with the Belgian side at the Cristal Arena, and co-incided with the ongoing police and Football Association investigations into the race row between captain John Terry and QPR`s Anton Ferdinand.

A statement read: "Chelsea Football Club is continuing the investigation into identifying fans who participated in offensive chanting during our Champions League game against Genk."
