Jagielka misses training

Phil Jagielka was the only absentee from training on Thursday as England began their preparations for Saturday's friendly international with Spain at Wembley.

The Everton centre-back's fractured toe will be monitored by England's medical staff during the next 24 hours but Jagielka will have to train on Friday at Wembley to be considered for the clash with the World Cup holders.

England are liaising with Everton's medical staff over the condition of Jagielka and spoke on Thursday morning.
