Borussia Dortmund have poured scorn over the reported interest of Arsenal in playmaker Mario Gotze.
The Gunners have also been linked with a move for Kevin Grosskreutz in recent weeks, with Arsene Wenger thought to be considering his transfer options ahead of the January transfer window.
However, Dortmund chief Hans-Joachim Watzke is 'relaxed' over the situation, suggesting the Arsenal interest is nothing more than an effort to distract ahead of the two clubs meeting in the Champions League.
"I see the whole situation in a relaxed way. Before our first game in the Champions League, Arsenal were talking about Gotze," he said.
"Now, with the second leg due in London, it's all about Grosskreutz. Maybe a third player will be mentioned when we get closer?"
Arsenal claimed a point in the opening fixture of their Group F campaign, drawing 1-1 when the pair clashed at Signal Igunda Park.
The return fixture at the Emirates is on November 23rd, and a draw is likely to be enough to send Arsenal through to the knockout stages at the expense of their Bundesliga rivals.
Whether the 'interest' of Wenger is simply a ploy to unsettle the pair ahead of both fixtures will be seen in the months ahead, and a January offer from the north London outfit can't be ruled out just yet.
