Ledley King has praised the strength and depth of Tottenham's goalkeeping ranks, insisting that the club have three goalkeepers of the highest quality.
The summer arrival of Brad Friedel has increased the competition for the Spurs No.1 jersey, with back-ups Carlo Cudicini and Heurelho Gomes facing a fight to even make the bench at White Hart Lane.
Last year's first-choice Gomes, has been restricted to UEFA Europa League, and Carling Cup appearances so far this term, but the Brazilian has been faultless in all three games he's started, keeping clean sheets in each.
Meanwhile, Cudicini produced one of the season's outstanding individual displays when called upon in the recent away trip to Rubin Kazan on November 3 - only for Friedel to follow that performance three days later with a series of stunning saves in the 3-1 win away at Fulham.
"We've got three top goalkeepers," confirmed King. "I watched Carlo against Rubin Kazan and he was fantastic. He keeps himself in great shape.
"Gomes has been brilliant in training, working hard every day and is a top goalkeeper.
"Brad with all his experience has settled the back four down, we're lucky we can rely on three goalkeepers with great experience at any time."
