Liverpool have been handed an injury boost with news that defender Jamie Carragher is available for selection ahead of the weekend clash against Chelsea.
The versatile centre back, who has previously played in the right back position at Anfield, has missed the last two games for Kenny Dalglish's side with a minor calf problem.
But, after watching the victory at West Brom and draw against Swansea, the Reds' vice-captain is once again ready to make his return on Sunday.
"Jamie has joined in training over the last couple of days and looked good. He was out for a couple of weeks with a minor calf injury," first-team coach Steve Clarke told the official Liverpool website.
"We just made sure he took his time, recovered from it, and he's trained well these past couple of days.
"He'll be in contention for the weekend if there are no mishaps between now and the game."
The 33-year-old has made 679 total appearances during his Liverpool career, with nine so far in the Barclays Premier League this term.
