England have been seeded in the second pot for the European Championship finals draw on December 2nd.
Runners up in 2008 Germany, 2006 World Cup winners Italy and Russia all join Fabio Capello's men in the pot, all of whom can't be drawn in the same group.
Reigning European and World Champions Spain are in pot one, along with co-hosts Poland and Ukraine, with World Cup loosing finalists Netherlands completing the quartet.
Pot three is made up of Croatia, Greece, Sweden, who England beat at Wembley on Tuesday and Portugal, qualifiers through the play-offs after beating Montenegro and victors over the Three Lions in their last match in the finals back in 2004.
The Republic of Ireland join Denmark, Czech Republic and France in the last pot.
The pots are based on the form of the teams in qualifying for the last three major tournaments, while co-hosts Poland and Ukraine are automatically seeded to ensure all their matches are played in their home country.

Pot 1: Spain, Netherlands, Poland, Ukraine.
Pot 2: Germany, Italy, England, Russia.
Pot 3: Croatia, Greece, Portugal, Sweden.
