Jack Rodwell is happy to play anywhere if it means remaining part of England head coach Fabio Capello's plans after making his first start in Tuesday's friendly international with Sweden at Wembley.
The Everton youngster has played as an attacking and defensive midfielder and even at centre-half in his short career.
He managed to get forward to good effect against the Swedes and admits he should have scored with a first half header. But Rodwell was encouraged with his overall performance and content to fill whatever role is required by Capello, and said: "I enjoy pushing forward and managed to fire some shots off but, it's for the country, and I'll play anywhere.
