Kuyt hoping for Chelsea joy

Dirk Kuyt says Liverpool will travel to Chelsea in buoyant mood seeking a second successive win at Stamford Bridge.

Raul Meireles, now of The Blues, scored the winner the last time the two sides met in west London, and Liverpool's away form, which has already seen them dispatch Arsenal, gives Kuyt reason for talking up a second major scalp.

Three successive home draws have halted a near perfect start to Kenny Dalglish's men, and Kuyt reveals it's the belief within the squad coupled with the new additions that make them a strong proposition.

"Everyone knows how tough it can be at Stamford Bridge, but we all look forward to the big games," he said. "We did really well against Arsenal away, and hopefully we can get the same result at Chelsea.

"The key is to stick together, be a team, have a great performance and believe in our qualities. We have a great team and have the possibility to beat them.

"I am always confident because I believe this team can win every game.

"I think we have more strength in the team now and definitely more depth," he added. "They have also added a couple of quality players - it will be interesting to see Raul Meireles again and everybody knows how good Mata can be.

"It will be an interesting game and we're all looking forward to the big games, we can't wait to play them, and hopefully we can get the three points."
