Thierry Henry is training with Arsenal during the MLS off-season, Arsene Wenger has confirmed.
The 34-year-old is back in London following his second season in Major League Soccer with the New York Red Bulls.
Henry could have been featuring in Sunday's MLS Cup final, were it not for the Red Bulls' defeat at the hands of David Beckham's LA Galaxy in the playoffs.
The Gunners legend has instead returned to his old stomping ground in order to maintain his fitness - and Wenger is delighted to welcome his former striker back home.
"Thierry was back training with us today [Thursday]," the Gunners boss told Arsenal Player.
"He just wants to stay fit, enjoy himself and come back to Arsenal Football Club. He is at home here so it's always good to have him back.
"We kept in touch anyway, even in the States. He just turns up and practices. When it's possible of course he can practice with the first team.
"He always [gives us] a lift and shows just what a good player he is. He doesn't like to lose - that doesn't change."
