Andy Polo is set to snub interest from Arsenal in order to sign for Real Madrid, it has been claimed.
The 17-year-old has scored three goals in 16 appearances for Peruvian outfit Universitario de Deportes and is also being tracked by Schalke.
Arsenal and Real, though, are thought to be the frontrunners for his signature and, according to the Daily Mail, the 'new Sergio Aguero' will chose a move to the Bernabeu.
This news will no doubt serve as a blow to Arsene Wenger, who had hoped to add Polo to his crop of exciting young talent.
The Arsenal boss, meanwhile, is also said to be chasing Marseille's Lucho Gonzalez in his pursuit of midfielder reinforcements.
Gonzalez, 30, was target for Arsenal during the summer as Wenger scoured the market for replacements for Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri.
However, it was reported, Marseille were unwilling to let the Argentine playmaker leave the Stade Velodrome on loan - something Arsenal had requested.
Gonzalez, though, is still keen to quit France and has said he would be interested in joining the Gunners.
