Manchester United will have to fight off Arsenal and Manchester City in the race to secure the services for midfielder Paul Pogba, according to The Mirror

The 18-year-old made his United first-team debut against Leeds United in the Carling Cup earlier this season, however his burgeoning reputation has sparked interest in him from afar.

Pogba is yet to sign a new deal with United, and Arsenal and City are, as a result, prowling.

United are confident Pogba, who has been compared to former Arsenal midfielder Patrick Vieira will sign a new deal, but they will be wary of the advances of City.

City have already sapped up Carlos Tevez and Owen Hargreaves from United after contract disputes, while they signed Gael Clichy and Samir Nasri from Arsenal this summer.
