Norwich will head to Manchester City with a fearless mentality when the two sides meet at the Etihad Stadium next weekend, says on-loan defender Kyle Naughton.
The 23-year-old full-back insists the Canaries are not intimidated by any of the Barclays Premier League's big-guns, having already turned in impressive performances on their travels to Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool.
"There's no fear, no matter who we are up against," he confirmed. "At Anfield the manager said 'there'll no be no rolling over here, no shying out of anything because of who they are. We are going to fight for every single ball.' By the time he had finished we all felt we could get something out of the game and we did.
"It was the same at Old Trafford, where we just didn't have any luck at all. It could have been intimidating going there as a newly-promoted side, but we more than held our own. That shows the belief the manager has instilled in us."
Naughton revealed how he is enjoying life at Carrow Road, and says he is relishing his role under the free-flowing, attack-minded management style of Paul Lambert.
"The gaffer is what I'd call a no-nonsense manager," he continued. "He gets the maximum out of every player, never lets any sloppiness creep in and always pushes you to keep improving."
The Canaries head to Lancashire off the back of an important three points collected in the 2-1 home victory over QPR last weekend, and will be hoping to become the first Barclays Premier League side to take points off City on their own turf this year.
