Arsenal target Lucho Gonzalez is still hoping to leave Marseille in January, according to the player's agent.
The Argentine midfielder has been linked with a whole host of clubs in recent months after admitting he sees his future away from the Stade Velodrome.
Arsenal are reported to retain a genuine interest in Gonzalez and, says Federico Simonian, his client would be content with a switch to Italy, Spain or England.
"He wants to move to the Italian, Spanish or English leagues and will surely go to a club that deserves him and appreciates him," Simonian explained.
Arsenal, it is claimed, made an approach for the 30-year-old midfielder during the summer as Arsene Wenger scoured the market frantically for reinforcements.
However, Marseille are said to have rejected the proposal with Arsenal only interested in bringing Gonzalez to the Emirates Stadium on loan.
Wenger ended up adding Mikel Arteta and Yossi Benayoun to his midfield ranks on deadline day, but is expected to further bolster in January.
