The agent of Italian hotshot Manolo Gabbiadini admits it comes as no surprise that Manchester United have expressed an interest in his client.
Gabbiadini is a reported target for a number of Europe's premier clubs, having fired an impressive 10 goals in 13 games for Italy's under-21 side.
It was claimed on Monday that Sir Alex Ferguson was monitoring the situation of the 20-year-old, and a potential bid to bring him to Old Trafford has been mooted.
And, says Silvio Pagliari, United are just over of several sides keeping tabs on his highly-rated client, who plies his trade for Atalanta.
"I'm not surprised [by United's interest]," Pagliari told TMW.
"Many clubs are following him from Italy and abroad."
Meanwhile, Gabbiadini is not the only young striker currently on the radar of United, with the Red Devils also pursuing Huddersfield Town's Jordan Rhodes.
United legend Paul Scholes has been dispatched by Ferguson to run the rule over the 21-year-old Scotland international.
