Bayern Munich are reportedly keeping tabs on Marseille midfielder Andre Ayew, who is a target for Arsenal.
The 21-year-old Ghanian winger continues to impress in Ligue 1, and has consistently been linked with a move away from the Stade Velodrome.
According to Goal.com, Bayern have now joined Arsenal in the pursuit of Ayew, and have dispatched scouts to compile a report.
The Gunners, meanwhile, were reported to have made an attempt to sign Ayew as Arsene Wenger scoured the market for midfield reinforcements during the summer.
However, the Arsenal boss has since denied he approached Ayew.
"I like the player but we didn't approach him," he told Arsenal.com.
"Ayew is a very talented player but in the middle we have a lot of players too."
Meanwhile, Arsenal are also said to be pursuing Lucho Gonzalez and Gabriel Torje as Wenger considers further acquisitions in January.
