Tottenham Hotspur’s fortunes continue to rise as two Barclays Premier League awards for November have made their way to Whit Hart Lane.

Harry Redknapp has scooped the Manager of the Month award, while Scott Parker has been named Player of Month.

The awards come in the wake of Spurs taking maximum points form their three league games in November – against Fulham, Aston Villa and West Brom.

"It's been a real team effort," said Redknapp. "The players have done the business on the pitch, they've been fantastic.

"My coaches have also been superb and it's a team effort, I'm just part of that team.

"We've had tough away games at Fulham and West Brom, never easy places to go and to pick up maximum points from those games was important."

This is the second time the Spurs boss has been named Manager of the Month this season, also scooping the award in September.

Scott Parker’s arrivial at White Hart Lane has coincided with Spurs run of 10 games undefeated, nine of those wins – all games that Parker has played.

After a number of man-of-the-match awards, Parker’s worked has been recognized by the Premier League.

"I’m delighted," he said. "It’s a highly-regarded award. I’m really pleased to be selected and things have gone well over the last few months, long may it continue.

"It's great the manager has won as well. We've been on a great run of late, we've a difficult game now against Bolton on Saturday and let's hope we can keep it going."

Tottenham will be hoping that the Manager of the Month curse will not befall them in their home tie with Bolton this weekend.
