Arsenal winger Ryo Miyaichi is a target for Ligue 1 side Valenciennes, according to talkSPORT.
The Japanese flyer, who has made just two Carling Cup appearances for the side this season, spent last season on loan at Feyernoord.
With The Gunners now out of the Carling Cup, and fully focused on their Premier League commitments until the turn of the year, Miyaichi, not considered ready for the demands of domestic league competition, may be handed another loan spell.
Ligue 1 side Valenciennes are hopeful of securing a deal for the Arsenal man to help assist their survival bid and boost their goal threat, which has seen them net just 16 goals in as many games this season.
The 18-year-old's lightning pace has already seen comparisons drawn between himself and Cristiano Ronaldo and manager Arsene Wenger clearly feels more experience out on loan will help prep Miyaichi for a future spell in the Arsenal first-team.
