Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are leading the chase for Queens Park Rangers midfielder Alejandro Faurlin.
Faurlin is currently in despite with Rangers, requesting a £50,000-a-week contract to stay at Loftus Road.
But the club yet to decide whether to bow to the Argentine's demands, Arsenal and Spurs may pounce.
His agent, Lucas Cominelli said: “When the phone rings and there are two Premier League teams and one from Serie A expressing their admiration, it’s a testimony to the way Ali has started in the top flight.”
Faurlin's move to QPR sparked controversy when the FA deemed the move broke rules on ownership and temporarily threatened the club's promotion to the Barclays Premier League.
Both Arsenal and Spurs are monitoring the player's contract talks, with Serie A side Napoli also interested.
Faurlin's excellent technical ability has attracted onlookers from throughout the Premier League.
Arsenal are still searching for a long-term replacement for Cesc Fabregas in midfield, while Spurs require cover in midfielder with Tom Huddlestone currently out injured.
