The 25-year-old has made just three Barclays Premier League appearances this season, after losing his place in the Spurs side to the promising Kyle Walker.
Harry Redknapp is keen to keep hold of Corluka as he looks to retain the nucleus of his Tottenham squad in a bid to secure UEFA Champions League qualification this season, but has agreed to sit down with the player's agent in the New Year in a bid to resolve his future.
Corluka is determined to make the cut for Euro 2012, but knows he needs regular first-team football in order to confirm his place in the Croatia squad, and so may look to move on in January.
Roma are ready to give him the chance to get his career back on track by taking him on loan with a view to a permanent move to Serie A in the summer.
"Roma are one of the biggest clubs in Europe and I would accept him wearing their shirt," confirmed Corluka's agent Nikky Vuksan. "I hope to have a meeting with Tottenham soon so we can clarify his future."
