Arsenal are being linked with a £10 million January raid on Brazilian international midfielder Casemiro.
The 19-year-old Sao Paulo starlet has emerged on the radar of a number of clubs in Europe, according to talkSPORT, with Arsene Wenger one of those holding an interest in the talented teenager.
AC Milan and Juventus are also said to be keen, with the same source predicting a New Year battle between the Italian giants and Arsenal over the one-cap international.
Reportedly valued in the region of £10 million by his club, the Tricolor Paulista are ready to 'cash in' on the player, reports in his homeland claim, with Wenger ready to 'step up his interest'.
The Gunners brought attacking midfielders to the club in August, with Mikel Arteta signed on deadline day and Yossi Benayoun drafted in at the Emirates Stadium on loan.
However, the Israeli international will return to his parent club at the end of the season, meaning Arsenal could look to strengthen if the opportunity arises in the opening month of 2012.
Casemiro appears to be a possible option for Arsenal, and with Wenger's track record of bringing the best out of young players in north London, it could be a great move for the player as one.
