Arteta: Ramsey can be better than Fabregas

Published 1 Comments

Aaron Ramsey has the ability to be better than Cesc Fabregas, according to the Welsh midfielder's teammate Mikel Arteta.

Ramsey continues to flourish in the Arsenal midfield, and has made a particular impression on Arteta, who joined the Gunners in August.

Arteta was recruited by Wenger to fill the void left by the departure of Fabregas, and he and Ramsey have already struck up an exceptional understanding.

Aged only 21, Ramsey certainly has time on his side, and Arteta believes he has all the attributes to better the achievements of Fabregas, and become an Arsenal great.

“I think he’s a really good player and he’s been playing better and better," said Arteta.

"He’s going to be a top player if he wants for Arsenal for the next 10 years.

“He can be better than us [Fabregas and Arteta], he’s only 21 and he has a great future ahead of him.”
