Borussia Dortmund new boy Marco Reus could still be in contention to sign for Arsenal in the future, according to talkSPORT.

The 22-year-old recently confirmed his move to Dortmund in a £14.9 million switch from Borussia Monchengladbach.

Arsenal had been on the trail of the playmaker before his move to the German champions, however a move could be resurrected in 2014.

The player's buy-out clause is a reported €30 million however, with reports suggesting that when the fee becomes active in 2014, that Arsenal will be one of those sides ready to snap up the starlet.

Reus has penned a five-year deal with Dortmund to keep the likes of Arsenal and Real Madrid at bay, with the Bundesliga outfit likely to make a healthy profit on their January investment.
