Marotta: Krasic won't leave

Milos Krasic will not be leaving Turin in January, says Juventus sporting director Giuseppe Marotta, despite reports suggesting the Serbian winger would sign for Chelsea.

The 27-year-old has made only six appearances for Juve this season and had been expected to leave the club during the transfer window.

Chelsea has frequently been touted as a potential destination for Krasic, as Andre Villas-Boas attempts to bring attacking reinforcements to Stamford Bridge.

However, the Chelsea boss will have to forget about signing Krasic for now, although the former CSKA Moscow star could be available in the summer.

"Krasic is not in the market. And will not leave us until at least the end of the season," Marotta told Tuttosport.

Along with Krasic, Chelsea have also been linked with moves for Angel di Maria and Jack Rodwell before the transfer deadline at the end of the month.
