Real Madrid have received offers for Angel di Maria, director Miguel Pardeza has confirmed, amid reports of a big-money bid from Chelsea.
It was claimed on Tuesday that a package worth £38 million had been tabled for Di Maria by an English club, with the side in question supposedly Chelsea.
However, Real have no intention of letting Di Maria leave the Santiago Bernabeu, despite the 23-year-old winger winning the admiration of Andre Villas-Boas.
"Di Maria can count on the love and appreciation of the club and we do not want to sell him," in an interview with Canal+, Pardeza said.
"We are proud that offers are coming in, because that means that signing the player was a success and that he is doing well at Madrid."
Di Maria is just one of numerous players to have been linked with Chelsea in recent weeks as Villas-Boas looks to reinforce his squad in January.
The Chelsea boss is reported to have £150 million to spend on new recruits, and is expected to bring several players to Stamford Bridge before the close of the transfer window.
