Lukaku keen on Arsenal

Belgian starlet Jordan Lukaku has admitted that his favourite club is Arsenal.

The Anderlecht defender, who is the younger brother of Chelsea forward Romelu Lukaku, is on the cusp of the first team at the Constant Vanden Stock Stadium, having twice featured on the substitutes bench for the first team under manager Ariël Jacobs.

At 17-years-old, the left back appears to have a big future ahead of him, but would favour the Emirates Stadium over Stamford Bridge if given a choice in England.

"My favorite team is Arsenal," said the teenage defender.

"I hope soon to go to London to visit Romelu, but also to see Thierry Henry train."

Lukaku will have to move quickly to see the French legend, who is with the Gunners on a short-term loan deal after completing the paperwork with Arsenal on Friday.

He's already made an impact under Arsene Wenger during his second-spell with the club, scoring the only goal in a 1-0 win over Leeds in the FA Cup third round on Monday night.

As for Romelu Lukaku, he's yet to make a major impact at senior level for the Blues, with just three appearances to his name in the Barclays Premier League thus far for Andre Villas-Boas' side.

His form for the Chelsea reserves has been impressive though, with five goals in his last five matches suggesting the 18-year-old is on the verge of big things at Stamford Bridge.
