Chelsea have had a bid in the region of £14 million rejected for Fiorentina forward Stevan Jovetic, according to The Mirror.
The 22-year-old has previously been linked with Manchester United, and has been compared to Roberto Baggio.
And Chelsea, who have rapped up the signing of Gary Cahill from Bolton Wanderers, are looking for a fourth addition in the transfer window.
Manager Andre Villas-Boas confirmed last week he was looking for one more addition following the imminent arrival of Cahill, with Jovetic appearing to be Chelsea's No.1 target.
The Montenegrin international has scored 9 goals in 15 games for Viola this season.
Reports suggest Fiorentina would be more willing to accept a bid closer to £20 million, with Chelsea requiring a second bid if they're to land Jovetic.
