No complaints from Carragher

Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher knows his fight for a first-team place will continue despite earning a surprise recall last weekend.

The veteran centre-back lost his position in the side because of injury and prior to Saturday's goalless draw at home to Stoke had not started in 11 league matches, playing only in cup games.

Over the last two months Martin Skrtel and Daniel Agger have established themselves as the first-choice partnership in central defence, and the former England international said: "The lads are playing well. Of course you want to play and the manager wouldn't expect anything else."
