Chelsea keep eye on Hazard

Chelsea are refusing to drop their interest in Lille winger Eden Hazard, reports The People.

The Belgian winger stated last year he was ready to leave the Ligue 1 champions in the summer.

His talent has attracted interest from across Europe, with the likes of Real Madrid, Manchester United and Inter Milan having all recorded their interest.

In recent weeks Chelsea have jumped the queue for the winger, and while the 21-year-old is adamant he won't be leaving before the end of the season, The Blues appear keen to strike a deal.

Reports suggest Michael Emenalo watched Hazard last weekend, swelling rumours the club were preparing a bid.

Andre Villas-Boas is understood to want to complete a deal in the current window, before a summer which is expected to see a scramble for his services.

The Stamford Bridge club have already recruited Gary Cahill from Bolton Wanderers in the current window, and manager Villas-Boas has promised that one more signing will be made before the transfer deadline.
