Lampard has been identified as a player to kick-start Ancelotti's Ligue 1 revolution, having fallen down the pecking order at Chelsea in recent weeks.
The midfielder was withdrawn early in Saturday's goalless Barclays Premier League draw with Norwich at Carrow Road, with what looked to be a calf injury, but Lampard is not expected to be ruled out for too long.
