Chelsea are not interested in signing Lille star Eden Hazard during the January transfer window, it has been claimed.
The 21-year-old is one of the most sought after young players currently operating in Europe, and is seemingly set for superstardom in the not too distant future.
It was reported that the Blues had entered into negotiations with Lille over the proposed signing of the Belgian, and that Hazard had even discussed personal terms with Chelsea.
However, according to The Telegraph, this is not the case, with Andre Villas-Boas not interested in forking out £25 million to sign a player who would be ineligible for the Champions League.
The Blues have already been relatively busy during the window so far, having completed the signing of Gary Cahill from Bolton and having a bid rejected for Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Willian.
Shakhtar value the Brazil international far higher than the reported £16.8 million Chelsea offered for his signature.
