Wigan striker Hugo Rodallega - who is a reported target for both Arsenal and Liverpool - has revealed it is his intention to leave the DW Stadium at the end of the season.

Rodallega signed for the Latics for £4.5 million from Necaxa in 2009 but appears set to look for pastures new with his contract due to expire in the summer.

"In late May I finish my contract with Wigan and I'm waiting to see how the situation is resolved but most likely, these are my last three months with Wigan," the Colombian striker told Deportes Terra.

The 25-year-old also claimed he has been speaking to a number to teams with regards to a summer move, although he would not go in to specifics "out of respect for them and at Wigan."

Whether or not Arsenal and Liverpool are two of the clubs interested in Rodallega remains to be seen, but both Arsene Wenger and Kenny Dalglish have been linked with him in the past.

Goalscoring reinforcements would seemingly be something of importance for the Arsenal boss and his Liverpool counterpart, although Rodallega has hardly in potent form this season.

The Colombia international has netted just twice in 17 appearances this term - both of which have been scored in January.
