League One Sheffield Wednesday looked to have followed up their FA Cup fourth-round win over West Ham by knocking out another Championship side as Clinton Morrison lobbed them ahead at Blackpool, but Kevin Phillips equalised from the penalty spot in injury time to make it 1-1 and force a fifth-round replay.

League Two Swindon were the heroes of the third round after knocking out top-flight Wigan but they went down 2-0 to Leicester as Jermaine Beckford made it five goals in the competition this season.

Birmingham were comfortable 4-0 winners against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane thanks to goals from 17-year-old Nathan Redmond, Wade Elliott and a brace from Adam Rooney.
