Andre Villas-Boas' side beat local rivals Queens Park Rangers 1-0 at Loftus Road on Saturday, and have been rewarded with an encounter against Birmingham at Stamford Bridge.
Liverpool, meanwhile, dispatched of Manchester United at Anfield and Championship outfit Brighton will travel to Merseyside in the next round of the competition.
Elsewhere, Everton will host the winners of the replay between Blackpool and Sheffield Wednesday, while Southampton or Millwall will host Bolton.
Both Crawley wand Stevenage were rewarded for their exploits in the fourth round with encounters against Barclays Premier League opposition.
The former will host Stoke City, while the latter will face Harry Redknapp's Tottenham.
