Diouf makes German move
Manchester United transfer news: Mame Biram Diouf joins Hannover
Senegalese striker Mame Biram Diouf has completed his move to Hannover 96 from Manchester United on a two-year deal.
The 24-year-old made just three appearances for the Premier League champions this season, all in the Carling Cup.
He spent last season on loan at Blackburn Rovers, scoring six goals in 19 games, but his limited appearances for United have contributed to his exit.
Hannover coach Mirko Slomka said: "I am happy that with Mame Diouf we have another alternative up front."
He added: "We need to bring him in fast so he can help us in the Bundesliga and the Europa League.
"We have to focus on integrating him quickly."
Diouf scored just one goal in his three-year spell at Old Trafford, and fell behind in the pecking order at the club following the signing of Javier Hernandez and the promotion of Danny Welbeck following his loan spell at Sunderland last term.
He joined from Molde, the former club of club favourite Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, in 2009 and took the No.32 shirt at the time vacated by Carlos Tevez, but he failed to replicate the impact of the Argentine.
The forward's departure follows Federico Macheda's move to Queens Park Rangers on loan until the end of the season.
