Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur target Milos Krasic now looks set for Russia after a move to Whit Hart Lane fell through.
talkSPORT are reporting that the Juventus winger was offered a move to Spurs on loan, but Harry Redknapp revealed that Krasic wanted a permanent deal only.
Redknapp claimed that Tottenham did not have the cash to pay for the Serbia international.
“I wanted him on loan this time but he didn't want to come and wanted a permanent deal but we didn't have the money,” Redknapp is quotes as saying by talkSPORT.
It is now reportedly looking as though the former CSKA Moscow star could be heading back to Russia.
This is because he desperately wants to leave Juventus, where he has made just three appearances in the past two months, and the Russian transfer window remains open until February 24.
Chelsea have also been credited with an interest in the 27-year-old, but this now seems unlikely as they signed young Belgian wing prospect Kevin de Bruyne from Genk yesterday.
Andre Villas-Boas also signed Bolton defender Gary Cahill in the January transfer window.
