Championship leaders West Ham beat Millwall 2-1 in a fiery east London derby after they were reduced to 10 men at Upton Park.
Hammers captain Kevin Nolan was shown a straight red card in the ninth minute for a challenge on Millwall defender Jack Smith, however Carlton Cole gave the home side the lead on the stroke of half time when he headed home from close range.
Liam Trotter equalised for Millwall in the 66th minute when Abdoulaye Faye made a poor clearance which fell at the feet of the midfielder, who fired his sixth goal of the season from the edge of the area.
