Arsenal will face competition from other European sides for the signature of Brazilian starlet Casemiro.

The talented midfielder has been interesting Arsene Wenger but Galatasaray and Fiorentina are also interested in recruiting him, according to talkSPORT.

Casemiro currently plies his trade with Sao Paulo but his performances there and for the Brazil national team have reportedly attracted interest out of Emirates Stadium.

The acquisition of Casemiro would fit the bill as typical Gunners signing with him being only 19 years old, although the mooted £15million price tag would possibly ward off the interest of Arsenal.

2011 was a good year for Casemiro as it saw him make his first appearance for Brazil’s senior side and being a part of the Brazil side that was victorious in the South American Youth Championship.

Wenger may be forced to add to his midfield options in the summer as Tomas Rosicky’s contract is set to expire, while there are doubts over the long term fitness of French midfielder Abou Diaby.
