Arsenal and Inter Milan are being linked with a transfer battle this summer over Benfica striker Rodrigo.
The 20-year-old forward has spent time in England previously, although struggled to make an impact at Bolton Wanderers last season during a season-long loan spell at the Reebok Stadium.
Rodrigo's form has dramatically improved this term though, with talkSPORT citing the Spanish U21 international as one of the 'star performers' in Portuguese league football this season.
The radio station goes on to claim that Arsene Wenger has been monitoring the player's progress this season, and is preparing a summer bid to bring the player to the Emirates Stadium from his current home.
However, reports in La Gazzetta dello Sport now claim that Inter have taken a keen interest in the former Real Madrid youth star after failing to bring Carlos Tevez to the San Siro.
Neither report speculates on a figure required to lure the player away from the Estádio da Luz, but the Águias will not be willing to let the youngster leave on the cheap.
