Arsenal are planning a swoop for Ipswich Town starlet Carel Tiofack, according to The Sun.
Arsene Wenger has reportedly been on a scouting mission to watch the youngster, and is ready to raid the Tractor Boys.
The Cameroon born 17-year-old is currently applying his trade with the Ipswich Under-18s, and has also represented the Republic of Ireland at the same level.
Tiofack is progressing through the same youth setup that helped nurture Connor Wickham, who moved on to Sunderland in the summer.
The diminutive former Ballincollig AFC player can play either up front or on the wing.
Wenger has developed a reputation for bringing through talented youngsters, with the likes of Aaron Ramsey and Cesc Fabregas having joined the club at an early age only to go on and play pivotal roles in the Gunners' first team.
If Tiofack signs, he'll feel optimistic that he can break into the Arsenal first team, with the likes of Kieran Gibbs and Emmanuel Frimpong having successes in recent years.
