Udinese defender Mehdi Benatia admits he is honoured to be linked with a move to Manchester United, but insists he is completely focused on his responsibilities at the Stadio Friuli.
The 24-year-old has been one of the star turns for Giampaolo Pozzo's side this season as Udinese pursue a first Serie A title in their history.
Benatia's composed displays at the heart of the Udinese defence have seen him linked with a move away from Italy, and Old Trafford has been touted as a possible destination.
The Morocco international is certainly well aware of reports linking him with a move to Manchester United, and is flattered at suggestions he could join the Premier League champions.
Benatia does, however, concede that he will only be allowed to leave Udine should his current employers be compensated sufficiently.
"To be linked with Man Utd is a dream come true," he said, according to skysports.com.
"They are the biggest club in the world, they have fans everywhere in the world, to have an opportunity to play at Old Trafford would be amazing, believe me.
"But I have a contract with Udinese and they have to be happy before I can move. My contract finishes in June 2015."
Benatia has made 24 appearances this season for the Zebrette, who are currently six points behind Serie A leaders AC Milan.
