Sir Alex Ferguson is reportedly readying a bid for another young Mexican striker in the mould of Javier Hernandez.
The Old Trafford boss has earmarked Alan Pulido as the next addition to the Manchester United forward line, according to The Daily Mail.
The Red Devils will reportedly have to pay around £4million to secure the 20-year-old’s signature from the Primera Division de Mexico club Tigres.
Pulido is a Mexico Under-20 international and has been called up the senior side but is yet to make his debut.
He is a strong and stocky forward who can play with his back to goal, but also possess flair and speed enough to take on defenders.
The report also claims that Hernandez has spoken with Ferguson regarding the player, who has been tipped to make an impression at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
As well as Hernandez, Pulido would join Giovani dos Santos and Carlos Vela as a Mexican who has played in the Premier League.
