In-focus: Chelsea v Birmingham

A clash of two different styles at Stamford Bridge, as Andre Villas-Boas looks to earn a league reprieve in the FA Cup fifth round clash against Birmingham.

The former Porto boss has endured a mixed start to life with Chelsea, struggling to secure a top four finish in the Premier League but qualifying for the last 16 of the Champions League as group winners.

However, a run of four games without a win has increased the pressure on AVB massively, and a bad result could sharpen Roman Abramovich's axe further.

As for Hughton, his stock continues to rise at St. Andrew's after juggling a Europa League campaign with consistent form in the Championship.

Whilst Birmingham were knocked out of European competition, they remain in contention for promotion back to the top flight, and knocked out Wolves on a replay in the last round of Cup.

Harshly sacked by Newcastle, Hughton remains one of the more dignified managers currently in a job and is surely destined for great things in the future.
