Manchester United target Javi Garcia is a attracting the attention of Italian champions AC Milan, it has been claimed.
The Benfica midfielder continues to impress with a number of composed displays both domestically and in Europe, with the Portuguese giants having progressed to the last 16 of the Champions League.
Garcia has been frequently linked with a move to Old Trafford over recent months, having come to the attention of Sir Alex Ferguson during Manchester United's two encounters with Benfica this season.
According to talkSPORT, Ferguson is keen to address the lack of midfielders at his disposal, but would have to part with around £17 million to sign Garcia.
However, should United decide to formalise their interest in the 25-year-old, it would appear they may have competition in pursuit of his signature.
Portuguese newspaper A Bola reports that Milan are also keen on the Spaniard, and Benfica would be willing to sell in the summer for the right price.
