Cole could be kicked out of Chelsea

Chelsea defender Ashley Cole could be set for the exit door at Stamford Bridge after angering Roman Abramovich with his dissent towards Andre Villas-Boas.

The Sun is reporting that the club's Russian owner is sick of some Blues senior stars moaning regarding Villas-Boas’s tactics and is planning on wholesale squad changes in the summer.

Left-back Cole is thought to be one of the prime candidates to be shown the door after he openly criticised the Portuguese manager’s tactics in a team meeting, claiming the side would never win trophies playing the way they currently are.

The report quotes a Stamford Bridge insider, who claims that Abramovich has become annoyed with the players questioning his personal choice of manager and believes it is criticism of his judgement to criticise the manager.

While player power has orchestrated the removal of managers in the past, the Oligarch is determined that this time he will not be influence by moaning members of the squad.
