Published Add your comment

Phil Neville has been drafted into Brian Eastick's coaching squad for England's Under-21 international with Belgium at Middlesbrough on Wednesday.

The news was confirmed on Twitter on Thursday evening, with Neville's Everton team-mate Tim Cahill passing on his congratulations.

It has been a long-cherished ambition of the Football Association to get players approaching the end of their careers more involved with coaching at a senior level.
