Brazilian forward Hulk has identified Chelsea as his 'preferred destination', according to Porto club president Jorge Nuno Pinto da Costa.

The 25-year-old has been frequently linked with a move to west London, ever since Andre Villas-Boas swapped the Estadio do Dragao for Stamford Bridge last summer.

Villas-Boas is certainly keen on Hulk; stating earlier this week that there would be a place for him after a summer clearout at Chelsea.

Porto, however, remain firm over the intention to retain the services of their prized asset, and insist that any team wishing to acquire Hulk would have to meet his exorbitant buyout clause of £85 million.

Da Costa, though, may have difficulty in keeping Hulk in Portugal after confirming that the Brazil international has shown an interest in joining Chelsea.

"I've said it before, we would not sell Hulk and therefore Chelsea must activate his contract," Da Costa said, according Goal.com.

"We know there is lots of interest from Europe, but the player has told me privately Chelsea is his preferred destination."

Hulk has scored 12 goals for Porto this season, following on from an impressive haul of 36 strikes in 54 games last term under the stewardship of Villas-Boas.
