Ten-man Swansea defeat Latics

Published Add your comment

Gylfi Sigurdsson struck either side of the interval to secure a deserved 2-0 victory for 10-man Swansea at the Premier League basement boys Wigan.

Sigurdsson curled home from similar positions to turn the screw on former Swans chief Roberto Martinez.

The visitors could even afford to play out the final half hour without Nathan Dyer, who was sent off for a high challenge on Jordi Gomez.
