Arsene Wenger hailed his side's "faultless" performance after Arsenal came agonisingly close to mounting a heroic comeback against AC Milan last night.

Laurent Koscielny, Tomas Rosicky and Robin van Persie all scored in the first half, but the Gunners could not find the fourth goal that would have levelled the tie.

Elsewhere, Roberto Di Matteo insisted the Chelsea squad are a "happy family", dedicating Chelsea's FA Cup win over Birmingham to Andre Villas-Boas.

Di Matteo added it was "vital" the Chelsea qualify for the Champions League this season ahead of Stoke City's visit to Stamford Bridge in the league on Saturday.
